Country setting but only a short drive from the coast

The guest house is nestled in the countryside on the outskirts of a village, but only a short drive from the coast.The immediate area is ideal for walking, cycling and birdwatching or just chilling out by the pool with a glass of your favourite tipple from the bar. It is a perfect place to discover the unspoilt beauty of the Murcia region. With golf courses within 15 minutes, the coast, mountains and the historic cities of Cartagena and Murcia all within a half hours drive, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Villa Paloma

All the bedrooms are extremely spacious and have en suite shower rooms with wet room showers. There is a twin bedded room with an electric bed, a king size bed room and a double room.Extra beds for children are available if required

Notes on accommodation

All the bedrooms have air conditioning, British satellite TV and tea making facilities

Accessibility

All bedrooms have level access showers, grab rails and shower chairs are available. There is also a mobile electric hoist available if required and there is hoist access to the swimming pool for those with mobility issues.

Outside

There are no steps within the extensive gardens and the 8 x 4 metre pool is for the exclusive use of guests staying within the guest house and the 2 self catering houses. There are plenty of sun terraces and shady areas and BBQ's are held regularly throughout the year.

Coast / Beach

The blue flag beaches of Puerto de Mazarron can be reached within about a 30 minute drive as can the beaches of the Mar Menor.

Golf

There are 2 golf courses within a 15 minute drive and several others within about half an hour.

Travel

The nearest airport is Murcia San Javier which is about a 45 minute drive. For those who prefer not to drive, we have a wheelchair accessible minibus for airport transfers and excursions.

Distances

The village of La Pinilla is about 3kms, Las Palas which is a larger village is about 6kms, Fuente Alamo which is a nice market town is about a 10 minute drive and the city of Cartagena is about a 30 minute drive.

Further Details

For those who enjoy a little bit of night life, the urbanisation of Camposol where there are numerous bars offering entertainment is only a 10 minute drive away. For the equestrian lovers, there are excellent riding stables at Alhama de Murcia, about a half hour drive away.

On making a booking by phone or e mail,a 20% deposit will be required to secure accommodation. This can be paid via paypal easily and safely. The balance is then due 6 weeks prior to the holiday. If booking within 6 weeks, the full amount will be payable.No monies are refunded if you need to cancel your holiday so it is advisable to take out holiday insurance.
